Eleanor Roosevelt said, “What could we accomplish if we knew we could not fail?” Inspired by those words, FBG was founded with the belief that students can achieve anything if given proper support, encouragement, and opportunity. More important than getting into the best ranked college, is doing so in a way that honors our client’s desires, dreams, aspirations, and abilities.

Our co-founders are New York natives with a passion for helping others. Their sense of humor, mindfulness, and compassionate nature brings a calm, uplifting energy to the college process which can be overwhelming and stressful in the best of circumstances. Combined with extensive college and school counseling experience working within some of the top performing high schools in New York State, we are prepared to help you develop into the best version of yourself.

Established in 2020.

Through years of experience in college advising, co-founders Ralph and Colette saw an all too familiar trend developing within students - an increased sense of pressure and anxiety stemming from the college application process. Recognizing the solution is not to turn the locus of control outward, but rather inward, they make student development a focus throughout each session.
